A while back I posted on some personal information of a sensitive nature. If you are squeamish about medical details or don’t wish to be knowing various things about me, feel free to skip ahead to the next scintillating thing I write about books or TV or whatever. π
Well, we’re back from the doctor.
I do not appear to have Ovarian Cancer
That is some very good news and I’ll take it, Alex!
The less good news is that it appears there will be another laparoscopy in my future–the doctor suspects the endometriosis has become so advanced once again as to need it. Now comes the matter of trying to figure out when is the best time to be even more out of commission than usual.
But really, I’ve dealt with the surgery three times already. I more or less know what lies down that road and it’s not as intimidating to me as the thought of dealing with cancer. I feel like that sword hovering over the dinner party that is my life has retreated back into the rafters for a bit. A nice way to start the week.
I’m so glad. Bring on the dancers and flute-players!
Yay!
Good.
Now get back to writing. π
w00t!!!! π
And…
HUZZAH!!! π
God is looking out for you. I know this to be true. π
I’m still Very new here, so I had no idea, but I’m incredibly, extremely relieved and Happy for you. Have a huge exhale (“Whoooosh”) on me.
Very glad to hear that the worst-case scenario is off the table.

I do trust all of the ideas you’ve offered on your post. They’re really convincing and can certainly work. Still, the posts are very short for starters. May just you please lengthen them a bit from subsequent time? Thanks for the post.
