My fingers feel like fingers again.
I can walk up and down stairs.
I know this is only the second dose, but I think the Methotrexate may be working.

"Read, read, read. Read everything -- trash, classics, good and bad, and see how they do it. Just like a carpenter who works as an apprentice and studies the master. Read! You'll absorb it.
Then write. If it's good, you'll find out. If it's not, throw it out of the window."

Holy cow. That stuff is quite potent. My brother was on it when he was younger and suffering the early stages of MD.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t do much for atrophy. And it didn’t help that they simulaneously had him on doses of sterioids that would make Hulk Hogan proud. He had horrendous side effects, and I had always associated it with the methotrexate when it was probably the roids.
Are you having any side effects?
[I’m so happy for you – really!]
Best news I’ve heard in a while.
Oh, that’s great. I’m very, very pleased to hear this.

Basically I feel like I have the flu for a few days after each dose.
So while I feel good in my joints, I feel bad everywhere else. I understand this will even out in time as I get used to the drugload in my system.
My flu feelings should lessen and shorten and the joint goodness should lengthen.
It’s been so long since I’ve felt like this joint-wise that I’ll take that. In a heartbeat.
Excellent news. I am very happy to hear that you’re feeling well.
