It looks as though the Cobles are now on Car H——-.
Our first car was Annie, and that was 16 years ago. Since then we’ve had Bella, C (?), Desdemona, E. Robert (don’t ask), Frobert (it’s better than “F. Robert”) and Grover.
But now it appears that we have an H. We haven’t decided yet what H will stand for. But we do need a mechanic to check it out and verify that the car is not a Hlemon.
So if you know of anyone, let me know! (k dot coble AT comcast dot net)
I don’t know a good mechanic, but how about Heinlein for the name?
You’ll be good to grok with that name.
Ginger had good luck with someone over near here work.
What is the car doing? Email me with symptoms…
yup…I took my car to Ultimate Tire & Car Care. It’s behind the Broadway McDonald’s on 12th Avenue. Their number is 255-9880.
Wage had turned me on to them, and I was very, VERY pleased with their work…and most of all, they didn’t rip me off!
What kind of car? I know a good mechanic for Hondas.
Sharon, I love that name. It would be perfect. I’ll run it by the Husband committee, although I’m betting we’re still looking for a Grateful Dead tie-in.
Oh, and to clarify….The car (2004 Volvo) isn’t doing anything bad. I just want to have it inspected to make sure it’s in good shape, since this is an As-Is sale.
Ginger, I know EXACTLY where that Mechanic is…I think we might try them.
Harlan’s also a good H name.
Or Herbert, because you hope the car will live 10,000 years or so.
I just sold my old volvo (name was Stella).
I’ve always used Import Auto Maintainence(IAM) for Volvo work. They’re not cheap, but since Volvo’s are notoriously fussy and particular when it comes to certain repairs, they are worth it. IAM guarantee’s its work for 2 years.
My car’s name is Maddie. Maddie Gas Car.
LOL!!! đ
