It has been relatively unchanged for the last 8 years or so. Since it has all those wonderful windows and a Southern exposure, my dream has been to turn it into a sunroom/reading lounge. (I read far more often than I eat breakfast.)
The goal is to find some type of seating for the eastern wall and to build up an indoor kitchen garden in the South and West windows. I am open to suggestions for both seating and plants.
The plants I know that I would like to cultivate for sure are
–Purple basil
–Rosemary
–Lavender
–Green onions

Sage smells good, and marjoram is really pretty.
That looks like a lovely place to sit, for sure.
That will be beautiful! I’m thinking you need a nice soft chair with a soft ottoman, and a *small* side table, so you can put your feet up, have a lamp if you need it and a place to put a glass, etc. Maybe a little magazine rack or something beside the chair. You definitely have room to work in some small shelves (up the corners? and/or below the one on the left?) for plants.
