Sure, folks died horribly, tragically and needlessly. But that was almost a whole hundred years ago. So why not set one of these up at your kid’s birthday party, school picnic or other fun event? Just climb aboard the Titanic Adventure Slide for a rollicking good time.
Measuring 33 feet in height and 50 feet in length, this awesome slide captures the feeling of the real giant. Adding to the realism of this ride are the famed triple screw propellers and rudder. One could almost believe the ship is sinking! Who will survive the slide down?

Is there an icy pool at the bottom?
My favorite part is this: “This event celebrates the epic movie that was almost never completed…the James Cameron classic…TITANIC! The highest grossing cinematic release ever. ”
Uh, ya know, I think there was a REAL event even BEFORE the James Cameron classic.
I looked for the “World Trade Center Thrill Jump” but couldn’t find it.
Ring around the rosie.
Not to mention London Bridge Is Falling Down.
I’ve seen this in real life. Very disturbing.
I saw this at the Tennessee State Fair a couple of years ago. I also remember a song about the tragic even that my dad used to sing to us kids. It was such a weirdly uptempo and happy tune.
I’m building ‘The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald’ in the back yard. You know, for kids!
Chez Bez, are you thinking of Harry Chapin’s “Dance Band on the Titanic”? It’s a bouncy, cheesy little tune with a chorus that runs like
Dance Band on the Titanic
Singin’ Near My God to Thee
The iceberg’s off the starboard bow,
Honey, won’t you dance with me?
I’ve got a nephew who rents out these things but he doesn’t have a titanic one, just a plain slide. What was he thinking?
I think the Titanic song is a different one.
“Oh, they built the ship Titanic, to sail the ocean blue.
For they thought it was a ship that water would never go through.
It was on its maiden trip, that an iceberg hit the ship.
It was sad when the great ship went down.
Chorus:
It was sad, so sad.
It was sad, so sad.
It was sad when the great ship went down (to the bottom of the….)
Uncles and aunts, little children lost their pants.
It was sad when the great ship went down…”
And so on and so forth. Camp song (not my camp, but others like the Scouts and stuff).
Lynnster’s got the lyrics of the one I recall. I’d like to hear the other one as well.
They had this at the Williamson County Fair! We went last night and it was the first thing I noticed as we drove into the parking lot.
It was hideous and disturbing…so I took pictures.
