I don’t mind at all that you’ve made the choice to be vegetarian. I admire vegetarians. I like most vegetarians. Unfortunately I also like to eat meat, so that whole lifestyle is not on the table for me personally.
As far as your choice goes, good for you. I’m happy for you.
But if you’re going to make claims such as “I look better than I did 11 years ago” then we have come to where you and I have a problem.
Because you’ve talked about sweet and funny cows and loving animals. You want us to believe that you’re telling the truth about your new lifestyle.
So why do you lie in your pictures? Why do you pose for airbrushed glamour shots that fail to tell the truth about human bodies, that perpetuate the national body dysmorphic disorder?

The reason Alicia did that was to make a statement and she did but not the right one I agree with Katherine Coble Vegan and Vegetarian does make you more heathly I know this by fact of having experienced it but eating meat isn’t bad either ….everyone needs to learn balance some can’t handle it and that’s their problem “To Each His Own” is what I say and no one should be forcing or forced to do something they do not like or makes them feel bad,

It’s misleading in more ways than one. Let’s put aside any agruments over ideals and focus on what the campaign is trying to say: becoming a vegetarian will make you skinny and rock-hard.
You can’t get skinny simply by switching to a vegetarian diet. It is quite easy, if one is not careful, to ingest the exact same amount of calories as on a diet with meat (assuming it’s a reasonable meat diet). Carrots and many fruits are higher in sugars and calories, and if you sit and eat a bowl full of them, you might as well be eating a bag of chips.
You can’t look like they are trying to portray without working out many hours per day, most likely with a personal trainer. Then again, as you pointed out, looking like THAT is an impossibility, because the photo is airbrushed or Photshopped. (Have we gotten to the point where ‘Photoshop’ is a verb?).
Not that a diet that leans more toward vegitarian isn’t healthier within the right parameters, but that’s not what they are saying.
So I agree with you. Although I’m not going to complain about the nakedness…

In all seriousness, I’m in better shape than I was 11 years ago and much thinner. But I won’t say I look better since my skin has suffered from the damage I inflicted on it for 30 years.
