“We really liked you, but we can’t hire you. Please, by all means, enjoy a salad on us.”
LOL, in our company, we only waste money on lunch for people we want to employ. People we don’t want to employ, we send emails.
Sounds like a good sign, I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you!
Ooh, cool – sounds promising!
Definitely keeping my fingers crossed, except I got wined and dined once and didn’t get the job. Coulda been because I forgot to take the price tag off my swanky new dress, though.
I’d say it’s decidely good thing.
Definitely a good thing…Usually if you’re being rejected, you’ll get a nice letter in the mail or an e-mail.
However, a meal usually means “We want you and we think you’re worth a steak.”
It’s not a fast food restaurant, is it?
LOL j/k
Seriously, it is a good thing…He has nothin’ to worry about.
I’d have to agree – sounds like a good sign to me!
I started my new gig today – so I’m forwarding my prayers to Mr. Kat… it’s going to be good; Lord, let it be so… Amen and Amen.
Kat, theres no downside here. You either leave there employed, or full, or both. Remember which fork to use.
Did they ask you to join them?
Lunch is one of my favorite interviewing venues. And less stressful for the interviewee.
Make sure he orders no alcohol or spaghetti dishes.
