I think it’s safe to say that “When The Tigers Broke Free” is probably my favourite Pink Floyd song. Either that or “Mother”.

Gotta break out The Wall tonight now.
Love that.

I’m glad it’s not “One of These Days.” The hair stood up on my arm just typing that…
If I HAD said “One Of These Days”, I think Husband would take every sharp object out of the house and then have me locked in the basement.
At least that’s what I’d do for anyone who loved that song.
Loving “One of These Days” is sorta like loving The Doors’ “The End”.
Casey, are you just putting your playlist up? That’s so not fair.
Chez, Ever since that came up, I’ve been listening to the heck out of The Wall.
It’s a wierd day when your song choices are either from The Wall or The Methodist Hymnal.
Ooooh. I remember listening to Meddle way back when I was 16 or so (way back!) with my giant headphones on, thinking now what did they say just there, picking up the needle (needle!), moving it back and sitting there creeped out for a bit. Then I listened again
Of course not so terribly shocking these days. In my library right now are tunes such as Eminem’s Kill You and Stan.
Anyway, cheat did I? You’ll have to tell me the rules before next Friday
Woo. I was listening to London Calling shortly before work this morning.
I was also dabbling on some Stones overnight too.
Old heads, unite!
When CD players first came out, my college roommate bought one that had the A-B repeat where you could set a start and stop point in a song (for no apparent reason) to repeat back and forth indefinitely. I guess it was so you could learn a lick if you played guitar.
Anyway, my roommate was taking a nap after lunch and I had to go to class. I put on some headphones and cued up the “I want to kill you” part of “The End” and set the A-B repeat. Then I turned the volume up to just loud enough not to wake him up, pulled the headphones out of the jack and went to class.
I’m such a little stinker. We were pretty avid pranksters on each other. We stayed roommates for three more years until I became an RA. That’s right. A role model. Scary.
