and…ha! Isn’t that funny? Aren’t we all laughing now? Because, yes, Guns don’t kill people, they are a tool.
Speaking of tools, I’m getting about tired of hearing/reading/seeing this cutesy analogy all the heck over the pro-gun universe.
I’m pro-gun. Adamantly. I’m also fat. And I have a few things to say to my fellow gun nuts:
Being fat is not the equal of being dead.
Calling another person “fat” in a snide or perjorative sense is a cruelty born out of prejudice that perpetuates that prejudice.
Yes, Rosie O’Donnell has provided us with much evidence of her inability to process logical thought. So criticise her for that. Her being fat has nothing to do with her level of intelligence or her seeming lack of rational processing ability.
I know I have a chip slathered in French Onion Dip on my shoulder about this whole issue. I realise people are just trying to make a funny joke at the expense of someone who is very anti-gun and anti-gun rights. I just wanted to humbly point out that the next person who says that to me is liable to end up with spit in his eye.

[...] Amen, K-Co: Calling another person “fat” in a snide or perjorative sense is a cruelty born out of prejudice that perpetuates that prejudice. [...]
Preach it, sister!
I think I’d rather get the French Onion Dip on me.
Hahaha Rosie O’ Donnell, hahaha
Good point.
Is it still OK to say “Ted Kennedy’s car has killed more people than my gun”?
Katherine Coble, I’m so glad that you fought tooth-and-nail against a faceless monolithic bully. You kick so much ass. It’s not even funny.
Excellent point! Keep up the good preachin’.
